Description About BPaaS:
BPaaS (Business Process as a Service) is a platform-based service broadly addressing scope under payer core administration - enrollment, billing, claims, encounters, provider calls, member calls, intake of UM requests, A&G Intake, comprehensive reporting (Operational reporting, compliance reporting and SLA reporting), supporting client's audit and compliance requirements etc. The underlying platform in Cognizant BPaaS solution is based on TriZetto core products along with surround 3rd party products. Cognizant delivers business operations under Global Delivery structure from delivery centers in North America, Philippines, and India. The Solutions Architect is responsible for business development activities and creating client solutions (in pre-sales stages), responding to RFP's, interacting with delivery, FP&A and other stakeholders for solution & pricing approvals etc. The role requires working with cross functional teams to deliver the following:
BPaaS Solutions a. Work with client facing SLS / AM / CP teams on pro-active pitches and/or RFP's for BPaaS b. Review RFP requirements and do gap analysis with standard offering c. Create delivery plan for overall solution d. Perform bid defense and client presentations Delivery and Other approvals a. Acquire delivery approvals, drive delivery risk calls with DE teams b. Work with FP&A for approval of financial models and where needed, with technical accounting on revenue recognition aspects c. Leads the Deal Review calls with Cognizant executive leadership Standardization and Reusability a. Maintain artifacts for technical, functional, and commercial solution b. Work with IT teams on enriching the platform solution, while maintaining standardization c. Pro-actively plan for changing compliance needs, working with Cognizant's Govt BPaaS Compliance teams d. Process feedback from Clients and client facing teams to bring in solution improvements driving better closure rates and better margins e. Take cost of delivery feedbacks and compare with modeled costs for refining product parameters The role is client facing and would require moderate traveling. The performance objectives contain combination of revenue and new contract signings (measured in terms of TCV), and other goals aligned to quality and timeliness of client proposals. Key Skills Required Extensive knowledge of healthcare operations focused on Government plans. At least 5 years of multi-function experience in TPA / Health plan core back-office operations catering to different types of plans (Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial, Delegated entities, ACO's/HMO's etc.) or in pre-sales for top tier BPO and/or IT company catering to Healthcare Payer industry Prior experience with platform implementations is strongly desired. Must have a good understanding of interplay between Technology and Business Operations People Management:
Apart from leading direct teams, candidate should have strong credentials in working and leading teams in matrixed organizations; specifically working with IT teams and third-party vendors Bachelors or higher degree preferably in Business Administration and/or in Operations Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring company sponsorship now or at any time in the future.
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Systems Architecture & EngineeringEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
