Warehouse Support Services- Tool Repair Technician
Part-Time Position Available-1st Shift
Monday-Friday between the hours of 8:00 am and 6:00 pm 25 hours per week

OVERVIEW:
Working as a part-time Tool Repair & Hoist Technician, you will be the primary contact for estimates, repairs, inspections, and maintenance on all hoist related items. You will be directly supporting stores and customers within the distribution center facility. This is an entry-level position based out of our distribution center in Jessup, PA.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
o Inspecting hoists to verify safety and compliance with Mfg, OSHA and ANSI standards.
o Evaluating and making recommendations regarding required repairs.
o Performing scheduled preventive maintenance activities on equipment.
o Packing and shipping of completed work orders.
o Performing inspections, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and responding to repair calls.
o Cross training into the other services areas.
o Troubleshooting and repairing material handling equipment.
o Building and maintaining customer confidence through customer service.
o Maintaining a clean and organized workstation.
o Documenting service installations, repairs, and inspections with applicable forms and reports.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
The skills and qualifications required for this position include:
o The ability to demonstrate Company values of Innovation, Teamwork, Ambition, and Integrity.
o Excellent mechanical and problem solving and diagnostic skills.
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
o Proven experience troubleshooting mechanical devices is preferred.
o The ability to work in a group of people to accomplish organizational goals.
o Prior maintenance or repair experience is a plus.
o Be detail oriented.
o Able to lift, slide and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 75lbs.
o Ability to pass the required drug test (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico, and Guam ONLY).

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
