Route Service Rep - 4 Day Work Week

We are now actively recruiting a Route Service Representative for this location. This is a four day per week, first-shift position with Saturdays, Sundays, and one weekday off. The Route Service Representative delivers merchandise along a specific defined route. He or she will service our valued customers by delivering required merchandise in a prompt and accurate fashion and with an up-beat and sincerely helpful demeanor. Our Representatives will know each customer's business well enough to anticipate demand changes in order to promptly present a Dempsey solution in response to any new requirement. The Route Service Representative is Dempsey's traveling ambassador in this client-facing role, so professionalism and attitude are key attributes of this position. In addition, the Route Service Representative will drive and care for his or her assigned vehicle in a responsible, professional, and accountable manner.
The ideal candidate has a clean and unrestricted driver's license, customer service experience, and a willingness/ability to maintain and grow accounts within the assigned area of responsibility.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develops and maintains our high level of service and satisfaction with each existing Dempsey customer
Delivers and stocks our products in a safe, clean, timely, and professional manner
Provides a high degree of service that exceeds the expectations of our customers
Continues to build long-term relationships in a friendly and professional manner
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be at least 22 years old
High school diploma or GED preferred
One year of customer service experience
Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record
Able to pass the DOT physical exam
Able to lift and carry 75 pounds
Must pass extensive pre-employment checks (including background check and drug test)

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
