Customer Service Specialist

We are now actively seeking a Customer Service Specialist for this location. The Customer Service Specialist provides a high level of service to both internal and external customers. He/she sets up and manages customer accounts, receives and processes specific customer requests, processes invoices, reconciles accounts, and supports our Route Service team as needed.
The ideal candidate possesses:
at least one year of previous business-to-business customer service/account management experience in a fast paced environment
the ability to multi-task while working to meet daily deadlines
excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
a professional phone manner and exceptional communication skills
strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
typing/data entry experience
basic accounting clerical/bookkeeping skills
RESPONSIBILITIES
Sets up and manages customer accounts
Receives and processes specific customer requests
Processes invoices and reconciles accounts
Supports the Route Service team as needed
Maintains up-to-date knowledge of all products and services
Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be at least 18 years old
High school diploma or GED required; some college or an Associate's degree preferred
At least one year of business-to-business (B2B) customer service/account management experience in a fast paced environment
Professional phone manner and exceptional communication skills
Typing/data entry experience
Excellent computer and Microsoft Office skills
Basic accounting clerical/bookkeeping skills preferred
Must have a highly reliable work performance record
Must pass extensive pre-employment checks (including background check and drug test)

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
