Processing Supervisor - (2nd Shift)


The Processing Supervisor is responsible for all activities and personnel related to the processing of tissue forms on assigned shift.? Assign personnel and arrange the work schedule to best utilize the resources in meeting the production plan.? Monitor daily processing to assure safety and quality standards are being maintained and Standard Operating Procedures are followed.


  1. Supervise the daily work activities of technicians involved with processing.

  2. Hire and assist with training of technicians and support personnel.

  3. Directly responsible for the training, quality and donor yield on his/her shift.

  4. Perform monthly quality audits.

  5. Hold a monthly team meeting.

  6. Perform yearly evaluations for technicians, maintains vacation, sick and payroll time sheet schedules.

  7. Work closely with R&D and Process Engineering to support new product extensions and process improvements.

  8. Promote teamwork and a positive attitude.

  9. Maintain a through knowledge of base / machined based products.

10.? Assist in the flow of tissue in and out of the tissue bank.

11.? Create and implement corrective action plans.

12.? Update and help maintain Standard Operating Procedures as needed.

13.? Perform additional duties as assigned.

14.? Validate processes and equipment as needed.

  1. Minimum three years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.

  2. College degree or 3 years experience.

  3. Knowledge of cGMPs or QSRs.

  4. Must be able to maintain a working knowledge of the Standard Operating Procedures.

  5. Knowledge of FDA, ISO and AATB regulations.

  6. Knowledge of workplace safety including OSHA, Hazmat and other safety regulations.

  7. Must be computer literate.

  8. ?Must have good team building skills.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
