JOB SUMMARY: Talent Managers serve as strategic business partners who collaborate with senior leadership to resolve course and shape of the people strategy. Due to the fast-paced, global nature of our business, successful Talent Managers at Cognizant are extremely proactive, flexible and detail-oriented. Talent Managers are responsible for all HR generalist responsibilities including, but not limited to: employee relations, rewards and recognition, performance management, employee engagement, career management, change management, executive coaching, group dynamics, teambuilding, and learning and development. Talent Managers interact with all levels of the Cognizant Business Unit and partner with all Human Resources centers of excellent (COE) to support the business. JOB QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS: -  7+years of experience in the field of HRM, including experience supporting a non-exempt population -  Experience leading complex account groups and direct report(s) is preferred -  Exceptional verbal & written communication skills; very strong presentation & client relationship management skills (client could be internal or external) -  Validated project management skills to define & enable processes. Often working with high volume data entry. -  Ability to work in a dynamic, constantly changing work environment where status quo is always challenged & ambiguity is tolerated -  Highly self-motivated & driven with ability to work independently -  Team orientation and ability to collaborate with individuals from all backgrounds -  Solid understanding of immigration, state and local employment laws. -  A BA/BS degree in Human Resource Management or a related field, MA/MS in Human Resources is a plus -  Ability to travel approximately 10% ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: -  You will serve as a strategic Human Resources Partner to the Business Unit on a variety of talent management initiatives; exercising a keen understanding of the global business model -  You will build and maintain influential relationships within the Business Unit supported -  You will drive the performance management process through the Business Unit. This includes performance normalization, working with and coaching training managers and leaders on the process. -  Lead labor relations issues end to end; conduct investigations and make sound recommendations -  Own and execute Business Unit practice level initiatives/projects with minimal oversight -  Partner with global HR counterparts to drive account level initiatives or processes -  Provide new business development support with respect to HR (i.e. client presentations, RFP submissions, etc.) -  Liaison with Compliance and Legal teams on significant HR issues -  Partner with HR COEs to tackle issues and enhance support (Talent Manager should have fundamental knowledge of how each COE functions and its basic processes) Job ID: 00028228521

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
